Organizations
Outside of class, I have participated in a few organizations, including WaggleNet, iRobotics RoboSub, Women in MechSE, and IntegirlsDerived. Below is a summary of the projects I have done.

WaggleNet
I was the Project Lead of the Bee Tagging Team in WaggleNet, which is an undergraduate student-run research group focused on engineering IoT solutions for beekeepers. I used AutoCAD and SolidWorks to construct a device with laser engraved and 3D printed parts that used integrated light sensors to autonomously detect and tag bees.

iRobotics RoboSub
RoboSub is an underwater, autonomous robotics competition held in San Diego where teams build robot submarines to complete various underwater tasks for points. UIUC is hoping to participate in the next one or two years.
As part of the mechanical team, I worked on designing an underwater vehicle in Autodesk Fusion 360 which can autonomously navigate through different tasks, such as identifying certain images, maneuvering through tunnels, and collecting objects.

Women in MechSE (WiM)
One project I worked on as part of WiM, in collaboration with the UIUC chapter of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), was the recreation of Thor's Hammer for Spring 2022's Engineering Open House (an exhibit where UIUC Grainger College of Engineering students come together to show what projects they worked on during the semester). For this project, we combined the use of biometric identification through touch sensors, an electromagnet, and Arduino.

IntegirlsDerived
IntegirlsDerived's goal is to encourage girls to get involved in STEM through events, educational content, tutoring, and more. As part of the organization, I created videos related to math to demonstrate how it can be applied in every day life, including ones hobbies and interests. These videos were posted on YouTube and at a virtual booth at the USA Science and Engineering Festival.
